Who WE Are
Indivisible: Downriver United 734 (DU734) is a grassroots, people-powered organization working to strengthen democracy and build community across the Downriver area.
We are neighbors, parents, workers, retirees, organizers, and everyday people who believe that democracy works best when everyone has a voice and when we show up for one another. DU734 brings people together to stay informed, take action, support local campaigns, and stand up for shared values like fairness, accountability, and inclusion.
Our work includes community organizing, civic engagement, issue advocacy, peaceful protest, voter education, and mutual aid efforts that help make a real difference in people’s lives. We believe change starts locally, and that strong communities are built through connection, compassion, and collective action.
We are proudly nonviolent, inclusive, and welcoming to all who believe in democracy and dignity for every person. Whether you’re brand new to organizing or have been doing this work for years, there is a place for you here.
